They're starting to, thanks in no small part to the NoSQL tsunami, which forced them to come to terms with not-so-strictly structured data. Text-analytics and natural-language processing technologies can help, but not all products are the same. According to text-analytics specialist Attensity, some NLP "solutions" are little more than glorified parsing engines.
