    Teradata has unveiled a new version of its flagship database complete with a new "time-aware" temporal capability; shuffled (and revamped) its DW platform family; showcased a new Unified Logical Data Model (LDM) framework; sought to reposition its warehouse systems as "Analytic Services Environments;" and announced a new version of its Teradata Marketing Management Suite.     The biggest news at the Partners user conference in San Diego came from Teradata Corp. No surprise, given that Partners is a Teradata-sanctioned event. As at previous Partners events, third- party vendors made product announcements, including Kalido, Information Builders, and Expressor Software. [more]
