Lauren Burke-McCarthy is an associate principal at Further, where she supports organizations in the enablement, implementation, and risk management of responsible AI solutions. As a data scientist at CoverMyMeds, Lauren built systems to understand user needs and enhance product opportunities. Her career began in retail, developing solutions across the enterprise and supply chain.

Lauren is head of community at Women in Analytics and hosts the WIA After Hours podcast. She is an instructor of AI and analytics strategy at Denison University's Edge, chairs COSI's KINETIC Board, and was a founding member of scikit-learn's Communication Team. She is a certified IAPP AIGP and recipient of the inaugural Ohio Trailblazers Award.
