Seth began his career in web development over 20 years ago. Since then, he has gained knowledge and skills that have led him to his current role as principal data engineer at Avalara. In this role, Seth designs complex platforms for stakeholders in data projects, drives a data lakehouse platform, and unlocks business value by providing best practices with data. Seth also serves as a mentor to data analysts and engineers both within Avalara and outside the company. Presenting and speaking are Seth’s newest ways to expand into the data community and explore his deep curiosity around complex data challenges.
