Iván Herrero Bartolomé currently serves as the chief data officer of Intercorp, a Peruvian corporation operating in retail, entertainment, finance, education, and healthcare, leading the data and analytics strategy group-wide.

Before joining Intercorp, Mr. Herrero was the head of data & analytics at NTT Data Colombia and worked at Deloitte in Spain and Colombia as senior manager of digital strategy.

In 2020, he was elected president of CDO LATAM, a not-for-profit organization aimed to foster the strategic use of data and analytics across Latin America. He also serves the community as an editorial board member of CDO Magazine.

An international speaker, Mr. Herrero has been recognized as "Peru Digital Leader of the Year, 2021" and "Peru CDO of the Year, 2023" by CIONET. He has also been featured at several thought-leader lists, such as "2022 World's Leading Enterprise Data Leaders" (CDO Magazine), "40 Under 40 Data Leaders 2023" (CDO Magazine), and "2023 Global Top 100 Innovator in Data & Analytics" (Corinium Global Intelligence). In 2025, Mr. Herrero was recognized with the AI100 Award by AIM.
