Enterprise data modernization is more than just migrating on-premises system footprints to the cloud. Organizations are increasingly challenged with managing seamless data access and provision from across continuously evolving hybrid multi-cloud landscapes. At the same time, enterprise application frameworks are increasingly influenced by technological innovations like AI balanced with the need to identify and inoculate against negative impacts posed by a broad array of information risks.

In this talk, TDWI Research Fellow David Loshin will discuss what TDWI research reveals about emerging data landscape platform paradigms. Loshin will outline the pressures imposed by emergent technological innovations, highlight the growing demands for ensuring trustworthy data within a governed environment, and reveal how vendors are enabling the integration of “smart governance” directly into the data fabric.
