Daqing Zhao is currently director of advanced analytics at Macys.com where he leads the predictive analytics, test and experimentation, and data science teams. Trained in data analysis and simulations on molecular systems, he has extensive expertise in customer-centric marketing and optimizing for all stages of customer acquisition, conversion, and retention. He has worked on segmentation and predictive modeling for banner ads, Web logs, search keywords, emails, transactions, call centers, and customer lifetime value. Daqing previously held senior management and technical leadership positions at several companies including Ask.com, the University of Phoenix, and Yahoo, and he has worked on client analytics projects for Intel, HP, Wells Fargo Bank, SBC, Dell, and others.He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University, specializing in scientific data processing, simulations, and optimizations.
