Dan Young
Chief Data Architect
Indiana University
In May of 2020 (as with many educational institutions), Indiana University began to plan and envision how an enterprise composed of 120,000 people could successfully and safely resume in-person learning for the upcoming fall semester. One key to the university “Restart” plan was a critical need to quickly develop a secure, flexible data management and analytics platform with the capability of providing needed outputs to decision makers. Join Dan Young, chief data architect, as he shares an IU journey of innovation—weaving together disparate data, aggressive schedules, and rapidly changing requirements into a unified, agile and virtualized data ecosystem.
