For years, TDWI research has tracked the modernization and evolution of data warehouse architectures as well as the emergence of new architectures, such as the data lake. Recently, we’ve seen strong movement to cloud platforms and the rise of automated and augmented tools to help manage an ever-expanding, complex data landscape. We see some organizations moving towards a data fabric approach, and there are also new paradigms such as the data mesh that have emerged. Data governance is evolving with new tools and new processes.
Join TDWI VP of Research, Fern Halper Ph.D. as she discusses these trends and the opportunities and challenges they provide for organizations looking to modernize their data environments.
