Jonas Cleveland is an entrepreneur in AI and robotics. He has appeared in several of the leading journals and conferences in automation and robotics. He also holds several patents in computer vision, machine perception, and robot mapping. Jonas has received multiple awards for his work in product development and entrepreneurship, including MIT Technology Review's Innovators Under 35, LinkedIn's Next Wave Award, and Comcast’s Who’s Next Entrepreneurs. Jonas is cofounder and CEO/CTO of Cognitive Operational Systems, Inc. (COSY), a spinout of the GRASP Lab at Upenn. COSY brings AI and computer vision solutions to the store floor of leading retailers. The company is venture-backed by Benjamin Franklin, Polis Ventures, and Intel Capital. Jonas has a degree from Carnegie Mellon in electrical and computer engineering and completed grad studies at UPenn in robotics while starting COSY.
