Take the Assessment
Today, many organizations are dealing with complex data and analytics environments as they strive to become more competitive. Companies are collecting higher volumes of more diverse data to support analytics for decision-making. They are moving to hybrid environments, both on premises and in the cloud (and multicloud), to support new data platforms to manage this data. Because of this, data governance has become a top priority and challenge for organizations.
TDWI created the Data Governance Maturity Model and Assessment to help organizations understand how their data governance efforts compare to their peers.
The maturity model provides a framework for companies to understand where they are, where they’ve been, and where they still need to go to support data governance. The model can also guide companies at the beginning of their data governance journey by explaining best practices used by companies that are more mature.
Learn How to Improve
The TDWI Data Governance Maturity Model Assessment Guide provides an explanation of the maturity model. It is designed to help you understand the phases of data governance maturity and interpret your assessment scores.
You may find it helpful to read the guide before taking the assessment so you are prepared to interpret the scores displayed at the end of the questionnaire; however, the guide and the tool can each be used independently, so you can work with them in either order.
