Even today, analytics is mostly about decision support: giving the right information at the right time in the right format to help make better decisions. In this course, we explore how we can design analytics to better support decision making for maximum business impact. In order to do this, we must explore some of the ways in which decisions are made—especially business decisions. There’s plenty of analytics technology to cover, and we will also explore business processes and even some psychology!
