TDWI Audio Report: New Terminology Clarifies What BI’s All About

Has the term BI outlived its usefulness? Claudia Imhoff and Colin White have two suggestions for terms that are more descriptive of today’s business intelligence.

The term "business intelligence" has become confused with data analytics and data warehousing, say Claudia Imhoff and Colin White. In this audio program, they suggest two new terms to include other types of analytics: "decision intelligence" and "decision framework."
